I woke up feeling very hungry, something that doesn't happen very often to me. I ate two Brazil nuts and had a small glass of OJ to take my supplements. After about an hour I made my regular carob coconut shake to which I now always add hemp protein. Then I chatted on the phone with my family and then a friend.
I'm geeling good. My eyes are a bit dry, so I'll try to have a salad later with flax oil (which I need to remember to eat every day, anyway). I had a tiny headache this morning, but once I ate it went away. It feels almost like a detox headache, but I'm not sure why I'd all of a sudden be getting detox symptoms. I do need to drink more, though. I feel like I'm not drinking enough water lately.
My daughter wants me to eat something special today since it's Thanksgiving, so I'm going to try to make a raw pumpkin pie and maybe some sort of "stuffing" that I saw a recipe for in Matt's book. It calls for mushrooms, though, so I'll have to think of something to substitute (since I don't eat mushrooms).
Not sure if I'll be learning anything today, other than possibly a new recipe, or two!
