Know Any Literary Animal Lovers?

Hi there PureJeevan readers! We wanted to let you know that Jim's new novel CHROO is available on Amazon. It's a crazy adventure involving a billionaire heiress, her Chihuahua BFF ("Chroo") and a host of human and animal characters. Find out more on Amazon! Here are some links:

THE TOUR IS COMPLETED! For pictures, videos, and commentary about their adventures, check out the Trip Dashboard!!

For those of you who've been following our plans for a few years, you know we've been preparing for a cross-country tour for a long time. The plans have expanded, contracted, changed dramatically, but the core of the idea has always been there: we plan on relocating to a new city and we need to find the right place for Pure Jeevan to settle. In order to do that, a big cross-country tour is in order. So, the exciting news is that we're leaving in a couple of weeks to check out some of the cities/towns we're thinking might be a perfect fit for Pure Jeevan! The sad news is that all of us can't make the trip. Jim will be holding down the fort here in Pittsburgh (i.e. the house still hasn't sold and he still needs to keep his corporate job so we can pay the mortgage).

Tomorrow, we'll be sharing our full itinerary (it's still being completed). But, here's a list of the cities/states Wendi and KDcat will be visiting as they search for the perfect Pure Jeevan location. We're curious how many Pure Jeevan family memebers live in/near these locations, as we're super excited to be meeting some of you!!

How exciting.

I'm in Las Vegas, New Mexico, which is not far from Santa Fe, or Taos. Maybe I'll get to meet you when you come through.

oh please don't base your opinion of Texas on Amarillo! there is so much more to Texas.. big bend, pine trees and lakes, the gulf coast, big cities, small towns, and the beautiful hill country.

Hi there, Julie! We commented on Texas in yesterday's post. We received a lot of unhappy emails about our decision to not go down into Texas and experience more of the state. We'll be doing a full tour someday and definitely checking out more of your state at that time. :-) Thanks for commenting! XOXOXO

Thanks, Toni! We're just mostly passing through the area and checking out some of the natural sites (not the gambling part). I'm interested in visiting the date farm that's not far from Vegas! We'll be posting all about our trip as we're traveling, so be sure to check back and see what we think of each place! :-)

Thanks for looking out for us!

Lots of love to you,

Wendi

*giggles about the Malcolm joke!*

Do you think the meetup person you mentioned earlier would be willing to put together a small gathering where we can all spend time together? If not, we'll need to ask Jim to organize it all...it's going to be hard for me to do while I'm traveling. Jim will be able to help out a lot, though! Just let me know what you think is the best way to be able to see as many people at once as possible. The time will go by too quickly to meet everyone individually, I think. It would be great to see Revvell, Ingrid, Bueller, Lori, and any other raw foodies in the area!! XOXOXO

No worries, I can set it up at Cru, in Silverlake. We can have around 12 people, is that ok Au Lac can hold more but it's an hour plus drive from here!deb xoxo

On February 11, 2010, WendiDee wrote:

Sure! Cru is fine! I'd rather spend time with you than time driving! :-)

I'll be traveling 3-5 hours on the morning of the 14th, headed to your place (not sure where I'm staying the night before...so not sure how long the drive is going to be for me to get there at your place on the 14th).

There should be plenty of time to get together with people at Cru either later on the 14th or any time on the 15th. Whatever you think will work best for you and others is fine with me, Debbie. :-)

Once you pick the day/time we'll add it to our itinerary and people can RSVP if they want to join us (I haven't heard from a whole lot of people from LA, so we should be good on the space that's available).

Jim is helping set up meetings, so don't hesitate to let him know if you need his help in any way.

Ooooh! I'm sooooo excited!!!

Debbie, I'm up for whatever works best for you--KDcat and I are flexible with our time. Others might prefer Sunday, if they work on Monday. Whatever you think is best is what we'll do. :-) It's so snowy and cold here, it's hard to believe not much longer I'll be there in the sunshine with you!!! Woo Hoo!!! XOXOXO
