Whoa, Pure Jeevan's Back?!

2016 update: Aha, you noticed?! Welcome. Yes, we wanted to bring the site back online again, mainly because it's so packed with articles and information. It will be a work in progress for some time, as we changed web platforms and all sorts of tech stuff. So, a lot of links are hard-coded to old Wordpress-style links... just awful. But, in time we'll get all of it back in shape. For now, enjoy clicking around and reading!

What's Valentine's Day without a little "Smooth Love," right ??Here's how we created this simple, creamy delicious, smoothie:

  • Start with the water and flesh of one young coconut. We had one left over, still nice and fresh, from our recent trip to the Florida Keys (more raw food videos and posts coming soon from that trip!).
  • Add three to four oranges, peeled (and de-seeded if necessary)
  • Add two to three large bananas
  • Add 12 ounces of frozen strawberries (or to taste)
  • Add a small handful of raw almonds
  • Add a bit of raw agave nectar or a few dates, if you have them.

Blend in your high-speed blender until smooth ... and share with a loved one! Happy Valentines Day, everyone!

how many does this serve 4 people ???

Well, it depends on how much each person wants to drink. ;-) We split it
between two people, but had it as a full meal. It can easily serve four as
just a drink.

Hi Wendi, I saw your testimonial video in Linda Sala's Blog (spanish) and I am still in shock. and... I just want to say THANK YOU!

At the moment i'm just a vegetarian ( till yesterday i ate eggs and dairy products) and my meals were based on floors,. piza, pasta, rice... almost my food was cooked.
Now... I'm trying to do the change, love myself and start to repair this mess.

I'm not sure to reach a 100% raw food at the moment but some change have been done ( in my mind and my heart) and i'm so excited to start this raw walk!

Vegetarianita,

Thank you so very much for your comment. Sharing such painful times
through that video is very much worth it when I hear from individuals,
like yourself, who have been inspired.

You can do it, Nita! I did something similar to what you are doing: cut
out the wheat and rice in the beginning, while increasing my raw food
intake. It worked fabulous for me, and I'm sure you'll find what works
best for you, too!

Best wishes and I hope you'll let me know how things are going with you!
One day you'll be sharing your story and inspiring others, as well!

Lots of love to you,

Wendi
XOXOXO

What an excellent suggestion, Nita! My husband adores kiwis. I'll suggest
that he try your substitution the next time he makes the smoothie!

Thanks!

Love,

Wendi

I am a raw mama to 5 high-raw vegan littles -- I made them pink raw vegan ice cream for V-Day and they were swooning :)

Great blog, it's very inspiring!
